Typewriter was a base model for Royal, and does not include many features often expected on most typewriters, including Tabulator and Right margin stop. Each is cleaned and lightly lubricated. Though tested for basic functionality, they are not tested for full functionality and reliability over prolonged use.

The typewriter is in original working condition – never cleaned. My wife used it as a child and she says the red ribbon worked as well. Based on the serial number BJ83118 (see pics of bar on back of unit).
Art deco glass keys and beautiful glossy black finish. Everything works and looks like new. (1938 Serial #O-821368 located on left side below the carriage).

The Typewriter is in Excellent Condition. G key is slightly slow retracting ,may need oil. PB Box ROYAL.
See photos. Typewriter is in beautiful condition. Last used in 1970’s and worked fine. Case shows some minor wear. No key. Serial number is O-785885 which dates it to 1938 and as a model “O”. Some of the photos have reflections from the gloss.
Portable manual pre World War II typewriter in ” attic condition” for exhibits,display,mancave,repairs. Ribbon totally broken down during the storage process. A fair amount of rust as shown in photos.
