most of the plastic covers on keys have come off over the years…there are a few left…needs a new ribbon…i used carbon paper to show the print…all functions work as intended..measures about 10″ x 10″ x 4″wide

This is apparently the first year of the Magic Margin KMM model. This gives you an idea of just how costly a high-end desk typewriter was in 1938. There are lots of levers and buttons. Typewriter owner’s manuals include sections on cleaning and maintenance for a reason.

Carriage advance, and other carriage associated levers off a 1938 Royal portable typewriter, as seen here. Serial number O – 753369. Pieces are in good used, reusable condition.
Typewriter was a base model for Royal, and does not include many features often expected on most typewriters, including Tabulator and Right margin stop. Each is cleaned and lightly lubricated. Though tested for basic functionality, they are not tested for full functionality and reliability over prolonged use.
