HERE WE HAVE: A vintage typewriter! The type writer is marked as a "Cherryland" and has a serial number of "401754". It seems the Cherryland machines aren't too commonly seen. From what I understand, these were made by the Japanese company Nippo. Nippo apparently released a lot of typewriters that look like this one, but they used a bunch of different names.. most commonly known is the Atlas. The body has a grayish-green, textured paint and the keys are green. Comes with a brown, zippered case which I believe is original? CONDITION: Good, used condition. The machine was cleaned and had a new ribbon added! It displays well, there's no noted major damage to it.. just some surface scratches, scuffs, discoloration spots, and small color loss spots scattered about. It's not a very high-quality machine so it just doesn't type GREAT. See the picture of the printed type for what I mean.. but the printed type isn't very crisp, it sort of bleeds a bit around each character. The "Q"/"q" key doesn't type well, I had to press hard and it was still faint, so that arm may need adjusted? The case is pretty tattered; the zipper is broken and detached in a few spots so it doesn't fully zip. The case has stains inside and out and some small holes to the liner inside. The typewriter is sort of difficult to get in and out of the case because it's a snug fit. Will come as shown, so please see photos!
