1963 Olympia SG1, 12 cpi elite typeface has been disassembled, cleaned, degreased, adjusted, polished and buffed. It types smoothly and responsively as this model is regarded for and all of the functions work as they should . The platen has some spring in it so there is plenty of life left . The plastic paper scale is intact(a rarity). The right side carriage knob does not color match the left knob. The cosmetic condition of the body is age appropriate and the images are representative of what you will receive. The black/red ribbon on vintage metal spools in the typewriter has had some use; a new black ribbon will be included in the box. This is a complete , clean and perfectly functioning SG1. EXCELLENT!
