Some keys are sticky. Will need some restoration. Beveled glass on one side is cracked.
Very cool looking typewriter. The keys on the typewriter are discolored as most ‘Century’ models currently listed and sold are. I’m not a typewriter expert. With that being said, I’ve tested most of the functions, they seem to all work as they should.

Royal Quiet De Luxe Typewriter w/ Case.
In appearance, features, and pricing, the introduction of the Futura marked a new direction in the production of Royal portable typewriters. It has curved and aerodynamic shape, but there were also key construction and materials differences.
Behind the paper table is a retractable V-shaped paper guide that allows for easy viewing of work in progress. This wonderful little typewriter is in “Periwinkle Blue” is in great condition and in full working order – all the keys move smoothly.
Type: Portable Manual Typewriter. Glass keys are intact and clear. The interior case includes a nostalgic, authentic service sticker dated “Nov-24-1993”. Era: 1940s (WWII Era). Model: Arrow.

These typewriters were made during the middle of the depression as a cheap stripped down version with no bell, ribbon selector, RS margin stop/release or tabs. 1934 model, J25142, one of only 3000 made.
