Up for sale is this Original 1950’s Royal Quiet Deluxe Manual Typewriter. Typewriter is in very good working and physical condition. The case has kept it in pretty sweet shape all these years. It’s does need a new ink ribbon.
Royal Quiet De Luxe portable manual typewriter with original case. These are good looking machines. Cleaned and tested. Everything works as it should. Impressions are crisp. No sticky keys. All functions actions work and work well.
Typewriter has been manually tested and appears to function properly. All keys work, the carriage advances as it should, and the bell dings near the end of the line. Typewriter itself is in considerably better condition than the case.
This one is exceptional. In stunning classic black, fully tested and working as it should. A new ribbon was installed. One side of the spacebar is loose…. a band/pulley is broken…. as shown in pictures . Overall great condition. I could not find a model number on it. All keys are present and working.
The serial number dates this typewriter in the 1930’s era or 90 years old. The typewriter types well as you can see from the examples. The original platen and original feet, paper feed, backspace, new ribbon, ribbon feed, margin release, tab, bell, shift lock are all good.
