The typewriter is in original working condition – never cleaned. My wife used it as a child and she says the red ribbon worked as well. Based on the serial number BJ83118 (see pics of bar on back of unit).
Black textured finish is in very nice condition. Pictures are good for reference. Very nice typewriter and case. Types very well. The case is in good condition as you can judge from the pictures.
