The ribbon needs changed and is very faded to the point you can hardly see it. the latch is broken and is hanging barely on. the case is stained and in rough shape. the advance lever folds up and unfolds as needed ( the only typewriter ive ever seen having this ).

Incredible condition vintage Royal typewriter in a lovely wood grain finish (called “English” inside the box. Box includes original cleaning brush. Key action is good, but needs newly inked ribbon. One handle in box is broken, but clasp and hinge works well. Likely 1927 vintage.
