The Royal FP standards were made in the 1950s and came in a wide range of colors. These machines were some of the last manual desktop typewriters, as electrics soon began dominating the marketplace. The Royal FP, like previous Royals, was reliable, easy-to-use, and could type words like battleships fired shells. This machine has an unusual 16" wide carriage and uncommon elite typeface. **COSMETIC CONDITION** Cosmetically, this Royal FP is in pretty good condition. These machines had a decidedly modern look for their times, and are still gorgeous to look at. This gray version was the most commonly made, with this example retaining its original cosmetic appeal. There are some wear and use marks, but nothing substantial.
